MAY 1, 2024,LIVE STREAMING!
SUBJECT: “SEVEN STEPS TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY!”

LESSON FOUR: “ADD TO TEMPERANCE, PATIENCE”

LESSON TEXT: (II PETER 1:6B)

HIGH POINTS IN THIS BIBLE STUDY:1. Step Four (II Peter 1:6B)Note Here: One great sign of spiritual growth and development is patience. When we can have endurance under stress, strain, or provocation, we are growing in the Lord when we add patience to our temperance!

2. What Is Patience? (Romans 5:3-4)Note Here: The Greek word for patience used in (II Peter 1:6B) is hupōmōne (hoop-om-on-ay’) #5281 which means = cheerful or hopeful endurance. It also means = patient continuance and remaining in a place or condition being patient, able to bear pain or trials without complaint.

3. Let Patience Have Her Perfect Work (James 1:3-4)Note Here: Knowing that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (James 1:3). Paul also wrote a similar scripture in (Romans 5:3-4). He said we glory in tribulations also, knowing that tribulations worketh patience and patience, experience, and experience hope. We must let patience have her perfect (complete) work in us, so that ye may be perfect (complete) entire, wanting nothing. (James 1:4)

4. The Need Of Patience (Hebrews 10:35-38)Note Here: For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. He may not come when we call him, but he will be there on time! Finally: “Be Ye Steadfast And Unmovable!” (I Corinthians 15:58)
